“The veil of mist that lingered over ******** manor that morning was gradually covering up the graves of its past owners, effectively masking the viewer’s eye but leaving untouched one’s other senses, especially the most powerful of all, intuition. For her that so many times was dragged through the mud of scandal, this feeling turned into an imperial impulse to set sail at long last. Heavy and opaque was the smokescreen she left behind her, a cloth of her own choosing.
Print of “Mud”, a watercolour illustration by messalyn painted in 2013. Important note : this is a reproduction print, not the original!*
The illustration is reproduced on a A4-sized paper (21 x 29.7 cm = roughly 8¼ × 12 inches), so it is slightly larger in size than the original. It features 1 cm (⅜ inch) margins to allow for the artist signature and numerotation and ease the framing process. The paper — Couché demi-mat in 300g — is smooth, almost bristol-like.
